BORL received the Performance Excellence Award under the Ramakrishna Bajaj National Quality Awards (RBNQA) in a glittering ceremony at Indian Merchant Chambers, Mumbai on Friday 9th March 2018. The award is in recognition of BORL’s performance in the areas of leadership, strategic planning, customer focus, workforce and operational focus and knowledge management.
The award was received by a team on behalf of team BORL from the hands of the Chief Guest, Dr. K. Radhakrishnan, ex-Chairman of ISRO. The Ramakrishna Bajaj National Quality Awards was instituted in 1996 to give special recognition to performance excellence in Indian organizations and act as a catalyst for nation-building. The aim was to match the stature of international awards such as Malcolm Baldrige, the European Award and the Deming Prize in terms of rigorous criteria and standards of excellence. It is pertinent to mention that the Individual excellence award was received by Shri TV Mohandas Pai, ex CFO of Infosys.
It is indeed a proud moment that BORL on its very first application for RBNQA has received the second highest award.
