HYDROCRACKER REACTORS FOR BORL REACHED KANDLA PORT
6 Nos. reactors for Hydrocracker / Diesel Hydro Treater Unit of BORL reached Kandla Port from Dalian Port of China and ship carrying reactors took berth on 13th May 09 at 17.00 Hrs. Out of 6 reactors, 4 reactors are weighing more than 500T and other two reactors are weighing 400T & 280T. All the reactors were discharged under hook on axles by 16th May 09. These 3 days were very hectic for BORL/EIL team. All activities / documentations were minutely planned well in advance in order to receive the reactors on axles. Our kudos to the team of Shri D K Gupta (VP-commercial), Shri R R Ghalsasi (Chief Manager-BRPC), Shri Sudhir Tanna (OSTS Manager – Kandla), Shri S Ramesh (AVP-commercial), Mrs. P R Rai (Manager – BRPC) and others. Transportation of these reactors is very critical & crucial activity from project completion point of view and is being monitored closely.
